Capturing your newborn's first moments.

Welcoming a new little life into your family is such a special time, and those first few weeks pass by in a blur of cuddles, sleepless nights, and endless love. Capturing this fleeting stage is something you’ll never regret.

Relaxed newborn photography

For your newborn session, we can keep things relaxed and intimate in the comfort of your home or during the warmer months, we can take things outside for a beautiful outdoor session, soaking in the fresh air and sunlight.

The best age for a newborn photoshoot:

I don’t have a favourite age to photograph, as each stage is perfect in its own way.

  • Under 10 Days Old: This is the ideal time for wrapping your baby, capturing those snug and cozy moments.
  • 2-6 Weeks Old: At this age, your little one will be more alert, allowing us to catch beautiful open-eye shots.
  • 6-12 Weeks Old: During this period, you'll start to see more of your baby's personality, and hopefully, we can capture that adorable smile!
I provide a professional photographer beanbag or basket along with earthy themed blankets and outfits, all available for use during your session.

You choose how you want your newborn session to unfold

When it comes to your session, you have options! If you’d like a bit more structure, I offer gentle, baby-led posing with a professional bean bag, soft blankets, and earthy toned outfits to keep your little one comfortable and happy. Alternatively, I can take a hands-off approach, capturing natural family interactions as they unfold. We can also blend both styles to create the perfect balance that tells your unique story.

What is baby-led posing

When it comes to posing baby in a photo, my approach is gentle and baby-led. I will never force a baby into a position that makes them upset or uncomfortable. Instead, I encourage natural movements, like stretching or curling up, just as they would in the womb.

I use earthy tones and natural fibres in my blankets, wraps and outfits as they symbolise the connection to nature and womb.
